We display various types of Wood floors including Unfinished and Pre-finished solid hardwood, Engineered Boards and Laminates. We can also supply a full range of matching accessories

Solid Hardwood Flooring

We display ranges from traditional timber mills which reflect the best of traditional flooring techniques and comprise of Unfinished Block, Strip and Overlay Flooring. These are generally available in a variety of species and widths. Unfinished boards should be sanded, filled and sealed after installation.Alternatively some ranges of boards are pre-finished with a factory applied lacquer or oil coating.

Solid boards vary from 18 to 22mm in thickness for use in structural situations or approx 10 to 14mm thick as overlays. Boards are generally random length.

Engineered Boards

BOARD THICKNES IS 14MM. A BOARD COMPRISES OF A ONE WIDTH (plank affect) OR 3 STAVED TOP LAYER LAMINATED TO A PLYWOOD CORE. THE BOARDS ARE EITHER PRE-FINISHED WITH LACQUER OR OIL.

THERE ARE VARIOUS WOOD SPECIES AND GRADES AVAILABLE.THE GRADES RELATE TO THE WOOD APPEARANCE AND NOT QUALITY.THIS PRODUCT IS USUALLY LAID AS A FLOATING FLOOR OVER A THIN FOAM UNDERLAY BUT CAN ALSO BE STUCK DOWN.

BOARDS ARE EITHER STUCK TOGETHER OR INCREASINGY CLICKED TOGETHER PROVIDING A MORE STABLE FLOOR FINISH WHICH CAN BE INSTALLED QUICKER AND CLEANER THAN GLUE TOGETHER BOARDS.

Parla Flooring

Parla engineered boards, manufactured in Finland represent natural wood flooring at its best. All the wood used is taken from renewable natural sources, that is, planted and managed forests.

The extensive range of hand graded woods are picked for the colour hues and grain patterns so that only the best possible quality woods go into each parquet floor.

Each species of wood is manufactured in different gradings from the cleanest to most rustic appearance.

Laminates

THESE FLOORS ARE IDEAL FOR KITCHENS AND OTHER AREAS OF HEAVY USE (not bathrooms). IMMITATION HARDWOOD WITH THE STRENGTH TO WITHSTAND THE WEAR AND RESIST THE KNOCKS AND SCRATCHES OF EVERYDAY DOMESTIC USE.

THE BOARDS ARE APPROX. 10mm THICK AND CONSISTS OF WEAR RESISTANT TOP LAYER, PRINTED WOOD DESIGN LAYER, HDF LAYER AND RESIN UNDERLAYER.

THEY ARE USUALLY LAID AS A FLOATING FLOOR OVER A THIN FOAM UNDERLAY. ALL OUR LAMINATES HAVE AT LEAST 10 YEAR WEAR WARRANTY.

UniClick With it's own unique locking system Uniclic is the leader in it's field.

As no adhesive is required it means:..less mess, ..less installation time.

Very precise joints therefore less likelihood of shrinkage.

A new surface that can be walked on immediately, and a floor covering that may be taken apart and re-used.
